4 simple tips to improve your health

Find out how to improve your health by simply changing your daily habits.

Living in a healthy way is not as difficult as it seems and improving your health is often a matter of commitment to changing our daily habits.

So I decided to offer you some useful suggestions that will certainly help you.

Sleep well and take a siesta

If you've been to Latin America, you've probably noticed that many people go home during their lunch break. They allow themselves the so-called "siesta" which is nothing more than a short nap. According to one study, adults who systematically took a nap during the day have a 37% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease. The afternoon nap allows you to lower your blood pressure and reduce the production of cortisol, a hormone that modulates stress.

Train your brain

Contrary to popular belief, your brain, if trained, can age slower than your body. Reading, taking music or language lessons, or cultivating new hobbies can help keep the brain young and healthy. Some studies have also highlighted how certain video games can help older people keep their mind in business.

Exercise

We all know that exercise is a key ingredient for staying healthy. A recent study found that walking at a moderate pace helps prevent hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes and coronary heart disease. Compared to other forms of exercise, walking does not require a lot of effort from your body and can give benefits such as lowering blood sugar levels, improving digestion, improving mood and sleep.
